Open position for *Student Worker (f/m)*

The Design Research Lab at the Berlin University of the Arts is working on interdisciplinary design research projects. It is a great place to work at.

For a position that opens in May/June, 2018, we are looking for a

Student Worker (f/m)

The tasks of this position include:

Support diverse research projects:

  • Building prototypes
  • Helping with research and workshops

Keeping our equipment in shape

  • Managing who is using which hardware/software
  • Managing rent-out equipment (digital camera, etc.)

Keeping our prototyping workshop in shape

  • Taking care of Plotter, Lasercutter and 3D-Printers
  • Putting things where they belong
  • Making sure everything is safe and sound
  • Ordering new material and making sure everything is available

Keeping our library in shape

  • Managing rent-out books
  • Keeping the inventory up-to-date

Keeping our events in shape

  • We plan to do a series of events, these need to be organized.

You should have experience in these areas and a passion for putting things in order.

You should be a team player.

You have to be registered as a student and must not have another job contract during the time of employment.

The position is paid according to ”Tarifvertrag für studentische Hilfskräfte II” (TV Stud II). Its duration is 6 months (max. 20 hours per week). We would like to start in May/June 2018.
